After many years teaching art in Yorkshire High Schools Janina retired as Head of Art in 2006. Her love of drawing from observation is reflected in her work in silk painting, printing and ceramics and her inspiration comes from the American Realists, Cezanne, Matisse and Spencer. Janina's two year Botanical Illustration course with the Society of Botanical Artists (SBA) concluded with a pass with distinction.
