Towcester & District Art Society was formed by a small group of enthusiastic amateurs who met at a local art course. This year 2012 and we celebrate our 25th year and we currently have 22 members and two Honorary Life Members.

Over the years we have held meetings at various venues in and around Towcester and we currently meet in the Paulerspury Village Hall. Sadly membership is restricted to the number the venue can accommodate.

The Society operates with minimum rules and for this reason we have the minimum number of Officers, the whole attending membership acts as a decision making Committee.

Our aims are to further skills in the graphic arts and to provide a local organisation for the support and improvement of each member's artistic abilities through co-operation.

The Society also provides a means through which its' members are able to exhibit and sell their work.
